PwC India is hiring DevOps Engineers – Intern, Specialist for its Acceleration Center India. This opportunity allows aspiring DevOps professionals to work on enterprise software engineering projects while collaborating with global teams across Advisory, Assurance, Tax, and Business Services.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating software deployment, managing cloud-based solutions, integrating enterprise applications, and improving software delivery processes. You'll work with modern technologies such as Java, Python, C++, REST APIs, Microservices, and Application Lifecycle Management while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative engineering environment.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer & Data Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Technologies.
- Strong understanding of Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and Software Development Fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, Microservices, REST APIs, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Cloud Computing is preferred.
- Familiarity with debugging, troubleshooting, software testing, version control, and enterprise application integration.
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize software applications using Java, Python, C++, and JavaScript while following software engineering best practices.
- Build, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software development and deployment processes.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and software testing to improve application quality, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and deliver scalable software and cloud-based solutions.
- Design and implement microservices architecture, REST APIs, and enterprise application integrations to enhance system scalability.
- Utilize Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and DevOps practices to streamline software delivery and deployment workflows.
- Support client-facing projects by providing technical expertise, resolving software engineering challenges, and contributing to business process improvements.
- Continuously learn emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and software engineering practices while delivering high-quality solutions.

- Programming Languages – Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, and JavaScript with strong programming fundamentals.
- DevOps & CI/CD – Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), deployment automation, and DevOps workflows.
