Job Overview
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in the discipline of Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
In addition, for the Standard I level, FedEx requires two years of relevant work experience in involving front-end and back-end application design and development. The candidate should be fluent in the English language, have analytical and problem-solving skills and be attentive to details, numerically skilled and have Microsoft Office and PC skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Full Stack Developer Advisors to breakdown epics into capabilities, business features and solution designs, and support robust architecture.
- Develop scalable, resilient, and high-performing code and microservices solutions.
- Ensure the quality, performance, and security of the developed solutions.
- Drive code reviews, provide constructive feedback and follow developmental best practices.
- Manage competing priorities and provide status updates and issue escalations to executive leadership.
- Own software demo content and acceptances.
- Facilitate communication, problem-solving processes between development teams and business owners.
- Communicate requirements clearly with onsite and offshore vendor teams.
- Act as a backup for the development lead when required.
- Mentor junior developers and support knowledge and practice transfer across development teams.
