L&T is hiring a GenAI Trainee for its DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC. The role offers exposure to Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Computer Vision, Data Analytics, and AI solution development.
As a GenAI Trainee, you will assist with developing and evaluating AI/ML models, Generative AI applications, computer vision solutions, data pipelines, and AI-powered enterprise applications. The role also involves research, documentation, Responsible AI practices, collaboration with technical teams, and continuous learning.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must have 0 - 2 years of experience.
- Must hold a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree.
- Knowledge or interest in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Artificial Intelligence.
- Should be interested in Generative AI, Deep Learning, AI solution development, and emerging AI technologies.
- Should demonstrate a proactive attitude toward learning and adopting emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleansing, preprocessing, and validating structured and unstructured datasets.
- Support the design, development, training, and evaluation of machine learning and deep learning models.
- Perform feature engineering, model tuning, performance optimization, validation, testing, and benchmarking.
- Assist in developing applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI models.
- Support prompt engineering, prompt optimization, response evaluation, RAG, fine-tuning, and model customization projects.
- Develop and test AI-powered chatbots, virtual assistants, and content generation solutions.
- Assist in developing computer vision solutions involving object detection, image classification, segmentation, tracking, and OCR.
- Work with image and video datasets for annotation, labeling, augmentation, and preprocessing.
- Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and create visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
- Support development of data pipelines and workflows for AI applications while maintaining data quality and governance standards.
- Assist in integrating AI, Generative AI, and Computer Vision models with web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Assist in developing APIs, microservices, and cloud-based AI solutions.
- Participate in software testing, debugging, troubleshooting, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and team meetings.
- Stay updated on developments in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning.
- Prepare technical and model documentation and follow Responsible AI, cybersecurity, data privacy, and ethical AI guidelines.
