About the Job
Cisco is hiring a Test Development Engineer for its Product Operations team. The role is focused on developing and improving testing processes for Cisco's next-generation high-end routers, including products built for AI and hyperscale infrastructure.
In this role, you will work between hardware, software and manufacturing teams. A major part of the work will be developing automated tests, writing Python scripts, checking product failures and helping teams find the cause of hardware or system-level issues.

- Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop the overall test strategy for next-generation high-end router products.
- Work on testing from Design for Testability (DFT) assessment through production readiness.
- Develop and deploy automated functional testing for boards and complete systems at manufacturing sites.
- Write and improve Python-based test automation scripts for manufacturing testing.
- Use data analytics to improve test capacity, product yield, and overall product quality.
- Help investigate product failures and perform fault isolation at component and system level.
- Work with Hardware, Software, and Supply Chain teams to support prototype builds and production ramp-up.
- Collaborate with global teams to make sure testing and manufacturing processes run smoothly.
