About the Job
Jio is hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees for a role focused on telecom core network operations and architecture. The position is suitable for freshers with a B.E./B.Tech background who have basic knowledge of mobile networks, IP networking, signalling protocols, and telecom standards.
The role involves supporting 4G, 3G and 2G core network operations, monitoring network KPIs and service parameters, assisting with subscriber provisioning, validating authentication and charging systems, and supporting interconnect and roaming testing.
The Graduate Engineer Trainee will also assist with network troubleshooting, core alarms and outages, call flow and signalling analysis, configuration documentation, network upgrades, and new node rollouts while coordinating with RAN, transport, device, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the design of core network architecture and contribute to network-related activities.
- Coordinate with device and product teams to develop requirements supporting 4G, 3G, and roaming capabilities.
- Support day-to-day operations of 4G, 3G, and 2G core networks.
- Monitor core network KPIs and service parameters to support network performance and service quality.
- Assist with subscriber provisioning flows and related operational activities.
- Validate authentication and charging systems as part of core network operations.
- Support interconnect and roaming testing activities.
- Analyze call flows and signalling issues to help identify and resolve network problems.
- Troubleshoot core network alarms and outages.
- Document network configurations and changes accurately.
- Coordinate with RAN and transport teams on network-related activities.
- Support network upgrades and new node rollouts.
