Juspay is hiring Software Development Engineers – Backend to build large-scale payment infrastructure powering over 300 million daily transactions for more than 500 global enterprises and banks. Engineers work on mission-critical backend systems that focus on reliability, scalability, payment orchestration, authentication, API integrations, and intelligent payment operations while contributing to one of the world's leading payments technology platforms.
In this role, you'll solve complex backend engineering challenges using modern technologies and functional programming concepts. Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- 0–3 years of software development experience with strong programming fundamentals.
- Excellent knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and Software Engineering principles.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as C++, Java, Python, Rust, Haskell, Scala, Go, or Functional Programming languages.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain highly scalable backend systems that power millions of digital payment transactions every day.
- Build reliable, secure, and high-performance payment infrastructure with a strong focus on scalability, availability, and fault tolerance.
- Develop backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and platform components using modern software engineering practices.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to design innovative fintech solutions.
