NTT DATA is hiring for the Security MS Engineer - PIM role. This is an entry-level position in technical engineering where you will work on client security infrastructure and provide day-to-day support for firewall environments.
The role includes monitoring client infrastructure, investigating issues, handling standard and low-complexity incidents and service requests, and providing support through ITSM tickets, chat and telephone. You will also help with maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes.
Along with regular support work, you will follow shift handover procedures, update or create knowledge articles, look for ways to improve workflows and support automation of routine tasks. The role also includes opportunities to contribute to project work and disaster recovery activities.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT/Computing, or demonstrated equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Entry-level experience in troubleshooting and providing support in security, network, data centre, systems or storage administration and monitoring services within a medium to large ICT organization.
- ITIL Knowledge: Working knowledge of ITIL processes.
- ITSM Tools: Good understanding of using ITSM tools and handling tickets according to defined SOPs.
- Communication: Ability to communicate and work effectively across different cultures and social groups.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and use available knowledge articles or SOPs to resolve incidents and service requests.
- Work Approach: Disciplined in handling day-to-day tickets, able to respond promptly and perform well under pressure.
- Client Focus: A client-centric approach with a focus on providing effective support and maintaining service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support client firewall infrastructure as part of the security managed services team.
- Monitor client infrastructure and solutions and identify problems or errors before or as they occur.
- Handle standard and low-complexity security incidents and service requests.
- Provide front-line support to clients through telephone, ITSM tickets and chat.
- Investigate incidents and work towards efficient and complete resolutions using available knowledge articles and SOPs.
- Schedule and support maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes.
- Follow the required handover procedures during shift changes to maintain service continuity.
- Update existing knowledge articles and create new articles when required.
- Identify opportunities to optimise workflows, including automation of work, request fulfilment and incident resolution.
- Contribute to project-related activities when required.
- Support the implementation and delivery of disaster recovery functions and tests.
- Plan activities and projects in advance while adapting to changing circumstances and client requirements.
