Salesforce is hiring an Associate Proactive Monitoring Engineer under its Futureforce University Recruiting program. Eligibility Criteria
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of Operating Systems, Networking, Databases, and Cloud Computing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix, SQL, and system monitoring tools is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Must be eligible to work from the Hyderabad office as required by the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production systems and cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Investigate system alerts, analyze incidents, and perform initial troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures accurately.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to monitoring and operational processes.
- Support system maintenance activities and contribute to continuous service improvements.
- Maintain operational excellence by following established support processes and best practices.
- Continuously learn new technologies and enhance technical knowledge through training and hands-on experience.
Skills Required
- Linux / Unix – Basic knowledge of Linux commands and system administration.
- Cloud Computing – Understanding of cloud platforms and cloud infrastructure concepts.
- Networking – Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and network troubleshooting fundamentals.
- SQL & Databases – Ability to write basic SQL queries and understand relational databases.
- System Monitoring – Familiarity with monitoring tools, alerts, and incident management.
- Troubleshooting – Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Communication – Effective verbal and written communication skills.
