Eligibility Criteria For Cognizant

  • Must be graduating in 2025/2026.
  • Must be appearing for or have cleared a 3-year full-time undergraduation course such as B.Com, BCA, B.Sc, B.A, BBA, B.Voc, BMS, or other eligible 3-year UG courses.
  • Must secure 50% and above marks in Class X, Class XII, Diploma (if any), and UG.
  • 49.90% is not eligible for consideration.
  • Must have a minimum of 50% marks in the UG course being pursued at the time of joining.
  • Must not have any standing arrears at the time of joining.
  • Those currently studying for a full-time postgraduate degree are ineligible to apply.
  • The conversion of grades to percentages, if any, will be done as per the guidelines issued by the respective universities.
  • Those awaiting results of re-evaluation in their qualifying examination will be considered based on the grades they have received.
  • Those selected must be open to working in any of Cognizant’s offices based on the technology and shifts they are assigned.
  • Indian Nationals or OCI holders residing in India can apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first level of support and escalation for all end-user queries and incidents.
  • Logging, tracking, and resolving all Service Desk tickets and ensuring resolution within the defined SLAs.
  • Resolving hardware, software, and other related queries and incidents.
  • Escalating queries to internal IT support teams when required.
  • Maintaining knowledge-base articles for faster resolution of incidents in the future.
