MountBlue is hiring Software Development Engineers (SDEs) for an entry-level software engineering role based in Bengaluru. Selected candidates will undergo an intensive 12–13 week training program covering modern software development technologies before transitioning into a full-time Software Development Engineer position. The program is designed to help aspiring developers build practical skills and launch their careers in technology.
As a Software Development Engineer, you'll work with engineering teams to develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain web and mobile applications. You'll gain hands-on experience with technologies such as JavaScript, Python, Java, HTML, and CSS, contribute to software documentation, support production systems, and learn from experienced engineering leaders while working on real-world software projects.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and development frameworks.
- Participate in MountBlue's intensive software engineering training program and apply the acquired knowledge to real-world development projects.
- Collaborate with software engineers, mentors, product teams, and clients to build scalable web and enterprise applications.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code while following software engineering best practices.
- Debug applications, resolve technical issues, optimize software performance, and ensure application reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile development processes, sprint planning, testing, and continuous software improvement activities.
- Develop and integrate APIs, databases, frontend interfaces, and backend services while working across the full software development lifecycle.
- Continuously learn new programming languages, frameworks, development tools, and emerging technologies to enhance technical expertise and contribute effectively to engineering projects.

- Programming Languages – Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C++, or C.
- Data Structures & Algorithms – Good understanding of arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, recursion, searching, sorting, and algorithmic problem-solving.
